Eurosoft

Your developer left the project unfinished: what to do next

It happens often: a freelancer disappears, a studio closes, or the old system can no longer grow. Starting from scratch is rarely the first step.

1. Secure what you have

  • Get access to the code repository, servers, domains, app store accounts and the database. Without these, any next step is harder.

2. Audit before deciding

  • A short code and architecture audit shows what is usable, what is risky and what is missing. The result is a plan: continue, refactor parts, or rebuild the core.

3. Move in stages

  • Keep the working parts running while fixing the critical issues first: security, data loss, payments.
  • For migrations from 1C or an old system, move data and processes module by module, with both systems working in parallel for a short time.

How we help

  • Eurosoft takes over existing projects after an audit and continues development and support, or migrates old systems to modern web and cloud platforms.

Questions and answers

Will a new team continue someone else's unfinished code?
Usually yes, after an audit. Good code is continued; weak parts are refactored step by step instead of rewriting everything.
Is it hard to move our accounting from 1C to another platform?
It depends on how much custom logic is in 1C. The usual approach is to migrate module by module and keep the old system running in parallel until the new one is checked.
Who can audit an existing project in Tashkent?
Eurosoft audits code and architecture of existing systems and gives a written plan before any further work.
